After the Navia plant, CCC Energo will enable two more biogas plants in the Barres industrial estate in northwestern Asturias. The multinational plans to collect 200,000 tons of slurry annually from livestock farms in the area to produce biomethane for energy and fertilizer use, which can be used by farmers.
It is expected that the plant can be ready in two years after disbursing close to 20 million euros.
